Your Favorite Recipes So Far From Dirty Kitchen Secrets…
It’s been pretty hectic here this last week! Chris, is having to fly to the U.S on a spur of the moment trip for immigration purposes. We were planning our usual summer trip to Lebanon for September but as things have changed, we won’t be making it, together! So, I’ve now also booked myself a last minute flight; I leave for Lebanon this Friday for three weeks and I’m off to see my two favorite bozos; my dad and brother.
This guy is the funniest, most interesting person you will encounter!
Isn’t he handsome?! I’m bias and I don’t care what you think…he is handsome! He does smell, though!
I am also working on a nice surprise, that I will finally be able to share with all of you! So, I haven’t had much time to cook these last few days. But, I have been eating a lot of falafel salads and chewing finger nails.
Sorry, I didn’t mean to share the last part.
Anyway, I want to share what has been some of your favorites in a quick short post, in case some of you have missed them!
It’s one of my favorite comfort foods; It’s just the perfect amount of vodka, tomato concasse and Creme Fraiche. I apologize about the missing chapeau and accent grave, add more vodka and you’ll get over it.
Summer Quark & Berry Cheese Cake
My friend, Sacha, wants you to taste her summer quark cheese cake! It’s made some people behave strangely but we don’t like to judge. It’s ok, I ate half the cake the other day, then gave my guests ant size pieces. I’m trying to improve my self control.
Tabouleh! Ok, here it is; the main ingredient here is parsley, not burghul! Burghul is to be added like salt. I don’t add burghul, but the recipe tells you, ideally, how much to add.
Hummus. Please do not make your hummus from canned chickpeas! Please! Also, make it in large batches.
That’s all I have to say, people! I’m going home, in FIVE days! I’ll see you on the other side!
Love,
Bethx
